To facilitate use on water, the 72H is IPX7 waterproofed. This model is a step down from the higher cost 76 model in that its 1.6" x 2.2" display has a lower resolution (120 x 160 as opposed to 180 x 240). The 72H also lacks map/memory ability (while the 76 has a basemap with map-adding ability, as well as an 8MB memory), and has a smaller track log with fewer savable locations.
